SCINET manages identities and account information using the NFID Wallet. In order to access SCINET’s applications, the first step is create an Internet Computer ID and log in.

Sign-in Access

• Navigate to app-scifi.scinet.one
• In the upper right corner click on the fingerprint icon

• You will then see a pop-up for the NFID wallet

  • Sign in with any email address or Google account you control

    

Email Signup

• If you chose to sign up with email, you will receive email with NFID magic link
• Click the link
• You will be taken to a page that says you’re already logged in
• Close this window
• You will be asked if you want to to share…the only functioning option is “Hide NFID Wallet address” for now.
• Click Connect

Continue with Google

• If you chose to continue you with Google, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account with your Google account

Create Account

• Fill in your contact information. The email address associated with your NFID wallet does not have to be the email address you use to create your SCINET account. However, the email address you use to create your SCINET account must be a work email from the entity that you represent (.edu or a company email address).
